Spending over the weekend is a very short period of time if you want to explore both Ilocos Norte and Sur. Though, we're still happy because we were able to visit 10 top attractions in Pagudpud Ilocos Norte. We hope to go back again to Ilocos and make sure to spend more time so we can explore other spots as well.
We rented a tricycle for North and South Bound Tour. I think this is the cheaper tour offer if you are just a couple or 3 persons instead of renting a car/van. Now here are the following places we visited that we loved!
NORTH BOUND TOUR

1. PATAPAT VIADUCT
EXPERIENCE: Witness the 1.3 kilometer long, snake-shaped bridge that connects Ilocos Norte to Cagayan Valley Region. The bridge is elevated 31 meters over sea level.
2. BANTAY ABOT CAVE
EXPERIENCE: Be amazed with how it was naturally built due to earthquake in the 80's. Well, this is not basically a cave but a hill. It was just wrecked by the earthquake leaving a big hole in the middle,
3. BLUE LAGOON
EXPERIENCE: Boracay feels with less crowd. The fine sand and blue water makes it one of the best beaches in Ilocos. You can also enjoy the view by zip lining.
4. TIMANGTANG ROCK
EXPERIENCE: The legendary story about the lovers who later became the Timangtang Rock (Male) and the Bantay Abot Cave (Female). From then on, it was called as the "lover's rock".
5. KABIGAN FALLSEXPERIENCE: A very cold and refreshing water that is dropping from above. You need to hike for 30 minutes first to reach and discover this majestic place.
6. SAUD BEACHEXPERIENCE: Another beach that has a fine sand. The sand is so soft it can literally eat your feet down below. This is also perfect for sunset watching.

9. KAPURPURAWAN ROCK FORMATION
EXPERIENCE: Get to see up close and personal this sparkling and whitest color of huge limestone rock formation. The name itself "kapurpurawan" which means white describes the limestone itself. You can also rent a horse while strolling around Kapurpurawan. Witness also a statue of Lam-ang opening the mouth of a crocodile.

10. CAPE BOJEADOR LIGHTHOUSE
EXPERIENCE: An old stucture that gives history to the town. It is kinda creepy because of the age of the place. You will feel something strange while checking out the place. The top of the lighthouse is closed for tourist.
