THE BOARD ROOM CAFE

Good news to all Caviteños, especially to students. There is a newly opened tambayan for you and your barkada! The Board Room Game Cafe has already launched. It is not your typical cafe because it serves two things: Food and Fun! I visited this cafe during their soft opening last June 18, 2016. The place is quite cozy but not too much of the design yet. I think the place was renovated already and it was completely cool. I saw in their account that they even have a "Hugot Board" for those who want to write some hugot lines. Interesting right?

Aside from the food, they also offer board games such as Scrabble, Word Factory, Bingo, Crossword Puzzles, Chess, etc. I really love this cafe's idea because they let their customers bring back basics -- not playing chess and the like on their smartphones but instead play it literally. Through this, it somehow connects and builds a relationship with the person they are with instead of just browsing their phone while sipping coffee.

The best part of this cafe is the food, of course. I am not exaggerating, but all of the foods served to us are all delish! As in.... heaven! I've never been so satisfied in a cafe until this happen. Most of the time I just have one favorite thing to order in a cafe, but here in The Board Room, ALL OF IT! and I need to put in a caps lock! Lol.

Most cafes serve delicious meals and drinks at an expensive price. The Board Room Cafe is way too different with other cafes, trust me. They serve high-class taste foods with a very cheap price. Let me repeat it... a very cheap price! I, myself was shocked knowing the prices are cheap. because I expect if the food is so delicious, it should be pricey, but this cafe changed my perception.  Below are the foods we tried and the prices:

Ribs Solo Order ₱99
Rootbeer Float | ₱70
Hot Chocolate w/ Mallows | ₱35
Nachos | ₱55
Peanut Butter and Jelly ₱59
Blue Lemonade₱30
Coffee Jelly₱25

Can you imagine that the foods I ate cost ₱373 only yet satisfied with it, in fact, my tummy was full for the rest of the day, swear! The ribs are worth trying! It is the cafe's best-seller. Don't believe me? Witness it yourself. Visit The Board Room Cafe at Carungcong Compound, Brgy. Sabang, Dasmariñas City Cavite. You can also check their menu on their Facebook and Instagram.

  1. I prefer more intricate board games. I hope they have huge hit titles like Catan, Splendor, and Avalon! Those games are to die for!

  9. Ooh interesting! We have a similar resto here in Baguio, it's called 'Game & Grub'.. :) concept is the same but food are very different. :) definitely a fun place to hang out in with friends and family, and for a change, gaming with no gadgets, just like the old days, when we were kids. :P
